Chapter 1: Getting the material

So, you are totally pumped up about Legos, and you want to flex your creativity skill, but you have nowhere to purchase these plastic entertainment modules. Well obviously by the name of the chapter, we are going to show you WHERE: (Dad, here is where the link(s) can go, or the affiliate link)

Chapter 2: Getting started

Now that you’ve ripped open your package and gotten your Lego starters kit, what do you do now? BUILD!

Lego’s are so great because you can build anything you want! You can build a floor plan of your new house, furniture and all, or you can build the Eiffel Tower! It’s totally up to you! JUST BUILD!

Now that you’ve experimented with these educational boredom busters, I bet you want to see what amazing other things you can build. Mainly you should experiment on your own, but, we’ll show you some tips and tricks and Ideas of ours.

Chapter 3: JUST BUILD Furniture!

Sub-chapter 1: desk

So you are building your house with Legos and then you realize that you don’t know how to build furniture. I’ll get you started on some simple ideas.

Desk:

First you take any thick Lego block and snap a flat piece on top so it looks like this:

Than you take another block and do so on the other side:

Feel free to add stuff on top, or make it higher by adding bricks on the bricks you already placed:

Sub chapter 2:

BED: this is very much like the desk except you can use a piece of cloth or a smaller flat piece as blankets and a block for the pillow:

Storage bed: Bed or storage? BOTH!

This bed requires special pieces:

Lay the long flat pieces like this:

Then put a large flat piece on top. Make it look like beds then add a small Lego box on the back:

(We have absolutely NO idea which Lego set we got the box, sorry! Instead use your imagination and create a box, or make one out of paper or something)

Sub chapter 3: the chair:

In some Lego kits they have ready made chairs, but you can make your own, too.

Take a long block with 8 bumps on it and attach 3 two bump blocks to the last row of your long block and it looks like this:
