If you’re looking for a little excitement, you might be interested in the Okie Noodling Tournament at Bob’s Pig Shop, 829 N. Ash, Paul’s Valley, OK, known as the biggest hand fishing tournament in North America, and since Noodling is illegal in many states, you’ll find people come from all over to participate in this yearly event. Normally held during the month of July, it’s a possibility the event might be moved to June this year. Streets are blocked off due to the crowds; locals set up lawn chairs and tables as vendors wander the streets, selling their wares. Be prepared for a fantastic Fish Fry.
